Hoi Chan is a Hong Kong born New Orleans based illustrator. Growing up in Hong Kong and living in New York City for the past 10 years, he is always looking to create a window into a quiet and tender moment through his illustration works. In his work, he explores the relationship between an individual with his/her inner self. Exploring this relationship has motivated him to collect textures from real life and incorporate them into his digital work. He believes textures can give the viewer another layer of intimacy and draw the viewer closer to the work.
